The guys at Moksa have set out to “create a place to awaken all the senses” and they really do have the whole picture going on. It’s an incredibly sensual place.
The latest addition of a DOJO with a line up of Martial Art Aikido, Qigong, Tai Chi, Capoeira and Yoga makes perfect sense.
Moksa is an interesting and rich blend of local culture and western lifestyle taken to all levels, in a unique way. Introducing sessions on Somatic Coaching and Balinese Pragmatic Wisdom shows that depth of richness.
What else happens at Moksa? First up the FOOD…. fabulous plant based healthy cuisine, and seriously, every plate delivered to your table is a work of art.
The PERMACULTURE GARDENS surrounding the restaurant bring the farm culture of Bali life to your table. Everything is edible here, and looks so gorgeous you’ll be rethinking your veggie patch when you get home.
Attending a CULINARY CLASS is not only a deliciously inspiring and learning experience, you get to enjoy the wit and sparkle that is Chef Made. My FB post says it all for me….
The most beautiful culinary experience @moksaubud today. This is raw food made with heart and soul. Bali style. 2 hour class followed by the most delish lunch. Taste sensation. Papaya soup, cashew cannoli, red sweet potato pie. We only just held back from licking the plates!
Chef Made shares more than recipes and the how to….. giving us an understanding of how to master the basics so that we can go home and think creatively in the kitchen.
Our group devoured the knowledge, amazing food and good company. Thank you Chef Made!
The weekly FARMERS MARKET is the festive place to buy your fresh produce direct from Moksa’s gardens or their farmer community.
So if you’re looking for an amazing culinary adventure or a place to try out Aikido, be sure to drop into Moksa. It can be found ‘A Quiet Stone’s Throw From The Bustle Of Downtown Ubud’ …..
